• Time of Day is Everything: The "golden hour" (the hour after sunrise and the hour before sunset) offers the most flattering, soft, and warm light. Midday sun can be harsh, creating strong shadows and squinting. If we have to shoot at midday, we'll look for open shade to get the best results.

• Choose Your Day Wisely (Avoid Weekends & Public Holidays): To get the most intimate and unobstructed shots, it's often best to avoid weekends and public holidays. These times tend to attract larger crowds to popular outdoor locations, which can make it challenging to find private spots and may result in unwanted people in the background of your photos. Opting for a weekday session often provides a more relaxed and exclusive experience.

• Location, Location, Location: Think about the vibe you want for your photos. Do you prefer a natural park, an urban city street, a rustic barn, or something else? Consider how the background elements will complement your outfits and the overall mood. We can discuss options that fit your vision!

• Outfit Choices Matter: Your clothing should complement the environment without clashing or blending in too much. Avoid overly busy patterns that can distract, and instead opt for solid colors or subtle textures. Layers and accessories can add visual interest. Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable and confident in!

• Weather Watch: Outdoor shoots are at the mercy of the elements. Always keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session. We'll have a backup plan (like rescheduling or finding an indoor alternative) in case of heavy rain or extreme weather.

• Comfort is Key: You'll be moving, walking, and standing, so wear comfortable shoes, especially if your chosen location involves uneven terrain. Bring water, and if it's hot, maybe a small towel to dab. Being comfortable helps you relax and look your best.

Booking and shooting date

. Book and shoot within the same week.

Please be punctual

. Customer are allow to come in 15 minutes before the photoshoot to settle down

Customer are allow to come in 2 hours before the photoshoot only if you have engaged our makeup service (Sorry that we can't allow to do makeup in out studio if you are planning on self makeup and / or engaging outside makeup artist as it may affect other customers that booked for the earlier session.)​
