Meet My Cameras and Lenses.

As a photographer, I'm a firm believer that the right tools can make all the difference. And over the years, I've curated a collection of cameras and lenses that perfectly suit my style and needs, all within the Sony system. Let's take a peek inside my camera bag!

The Heart of My Setup: Sony a7IV

At the core of my kit is the Sony a7IV. This full-frame mirrorless powerhouse is incredibly versatile, handling everything from landscapes to portraits with ease. Its excellent image quality, reliable autofocus, and robust build make it my go-to camera for almost any situation.

Sony 50mm f1.4 GM: For portraits and everyday shooting, the Sony 50mm f1.4 GM is a dream. Its wide aperture creates beautiful bokeh and its sharpness is incredible. It’s a wonderful lens for isolating your subject.

Viltrox 85mm f1.8: When I need to capture flattering portraits with a compressed perspective, the Viltrox 85mm f1.8 is my go-to lens. It's a fantastic value and delivers impressive image quality.

Tamron 35-150mm f2-2.8: If I need a bit more reach than the 24-70mm, this Tamron lens is a game changer. The wide aperture throughout the zoom range is amazing and the flexibility of 35-150mm allows for so many different types of shot.

Sony 70-200mm f4: For capturing distant subjects, such as wildlife or sports, the Sony 70-200mm f4 provides the reach I need. It's relatively compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around.

Sony 12-24mm f4: When I need to capture expansive landscapes or dramatic architectural shots, the Sony 12-24mm f4 is my weapon of choice. Its ultra-wide perspective allows me to create truly immersive images.

Sigma 24-70mm DG DN II: The Sigma 24-70mm DG DN II is a fantastic all-rounder, perfect for everything from street photography to event coverage. The constant aperture of f2.8 across the zoom range is a huge plus.

Putting It All Together:

This combination of lenses allows me to tackle a wide range of photographic situations. From the vastness of landscapes to the intimacy of portraits, I feel well-equipped to capture the moments that matter.

Having the right gear is important, but ultimately, it's about how you use it. I encourage you to experiment with different lenses and find what works best for your style. Happy shooting!
