Getting a Quote for Food & Beverage Photography: What I Need From You

Ready to bring your menu to life with mouth-watering photos? Great! The first step to a successful photoshoot is getting a clear and accurate quote. To make sure I can give you the most precise pricing and timeline, I need a little information about your project.

Providing these details upfront helps me understand your vision and avoid any surprises. This guide will walk you through exactly what to include in your inquiry so we can get started quickly.

1. What Are We Photographing?

Please provide a list of the food and/or beverage items you need photographed. The more details, the better!

  • Menu Items: A simple list of the items (e.g., "Signature Burger," "Iced Matcha Latte," "Seasonal Fruit Tart").

  • Quantity: The total number of unique dishes or drinks you need captured.

2. What's the Shot List?

This is a key factor in determining the quote. Are you looking for simple, single shots or a whole collection of images?

  • Number of Shots Per Item: For example, "3 photos per dish: one from the side, one from above, and one with a person holding it."

  • Shot Types: Are we focusing on individual items, group shots (like a table spread), or shots that include people enjoying the food?

  • "In Action" Shots: Do you need photos of the cooking process or a bartender making a drink? These require more time and planning.

3. What's the Vibe?

The creative vision for the shoot will heavily influence the cost. Different styles require different setups, props, and time.

  • Mood & Tone: Do you want light and airy photos, or dark and moody images? Is the style vibrant and colorful, or more rustic and natural?

  • Prop Styling: Do you have your own props (plates, cutlery, linens), or do you need me to source them? This can be a separate line item in the quote.

  • Backgrounds: Do you have a specific backdrop in mind, or do you need me to provide a variety of options?

4. Where Will the Photos Be Used?

This helps me understand the licensing requirements and the file formats you'll need.

  • Web Only: For your website, social media, and digital menus.

  • Print & Advertising: For physical menus, flyers, billboards, or print catalogs.

  • Full Buyout: If you need full, unlimited usage rights for the images.

5. Your Budget & Timeline

It's helpful to know if you have a specific budget or deadline in mind. This allows me to tailor a package that works for you. If your budget is tight, we can prioritize the most important shots. If you have a firm deadline, please let me know so I can check my availability.

How to Send It All to Me

To get the most accurate quote, please send me a detailed email unplannedmomentsproduction@gmail.com or whatapps +6011 6151 8902 with the information above.

Bonus Tip: The best way to show me your vision is to create a mood board or share a few links to photos you love. This helps us get on the same page creatively and ensures the final photos are exactly what you're looking for.

I look forward to working with you!
